We’re Stevie and Josiah, two everyday people who happen to know a lot about drinking. That’s because we drink… a lot. But we also study a lot, and we work A LOT. We’ve worked for some of the best restaurants and wine shops from coast to coast. But at the end of the day, we’re still just two everyday people who are thirsty. Really thirsty. Josiah began his wine career behind the bar, where he mastered the perfect Mimosa and learned the difference between Barolo and Brunello. Soon after, he snagged an internship at Silverlake wine shop in Los Angeles while he completed his business degree. Over in New York, he worked as a sommelier for the Daniel Boulud group before coming home again to California. He now lives in San Francisco, where he earned his advanced certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers and manages the wine program for one of the nation's most prestigious restaurants. Stevie spent seven years working in restaurants in Minneapolis, Los Angeles and New York in order to put herself through the University of Southern California before she swapped her apron for a laptop and a career in food, drink and travel writing. In addition to publishing, copywriting and website and brand management, Stevie is a certified sommelier and has loads of experience in wine retail.
